Paul joins RSCA after 10 years of coaching at the international level, with both the Canadian men’s and women’s teams.

As a full-time professional coach for the last 20 years, Paul has coached at the highest level and has qualified the Canadian Men’s Team to 2 consecutive Olympic Games and has coached at numerous events – 2016 Rio Olympics, 2018 World Cup, 3x Commonwealth Games, multiple Pan Am Games/Cups and multiple Junior World Cups.

In 2020 Paul coached the Men’s team to Olympic Qualification at home in West Vancouver which is most definitely the highlight of his coaching career.

Prior to coaching the Canadian teams, Paul played and coached in the UK, where he won a number of national club championships and coached teams to 2x EuroHockey Club Champions Tournaments. While in UK, he studied and holds a degree in Sports and Exercise Science – Majoring in Coaching and Exercise Physiology.

Paul brings a wealth of technical and tactical knowledge, experience and passion to the RSCA.
