Sara Goodman made her first start for Canada in 2019. Since her start in 2019 she has played in Pan American Games, Pan American Cups and a World Cup. This World Cup was Canada’s first world cup in 30+ years. Sara is a stand-out young central defender who sees the game well and rarely makes a mistake.

Sara grew up on Vancouver Island and after high school started her successful university career with the UBC Thunderbirds. She was arguably thier best player for her time with the University side.

Sara was a member of the team that represented Canada at the 2016 Jr. Pan American Championships in Trinidad and Tobago at which Canada finished 4^th.

Sara brings a wealth of knowledge to our Academy members with experience in both the USports and International levels.
